Asteroid 2004 BL86

On January 26/27 2015 Asteroid 2004 BL86 had a relatively close flyby. It was only 3 times farther from us than the Moon. This asteroid (with a diameter of about 0.5 km) is the closest known flyby until 1999 AN10 which is estimated to flyby the Earth in 2027.

The asteroid is visible as a small point.
