This time the Moon passed through the outskirts of Earths (half) shadow. Hence a penumbral eclipse could be seen. Photo taken when the eclipse was at maximum 01.44 am (local time).

Mars, Venus and The Moon on January 30, 2017.
Mars, Venus and The Moon converged nicely on the evening of January 31, 2017. A layer of thin clouds drifted in front of the trio, and created a corona around the two brightest light sources.
