Very Bright Bolide. November 19, 2022.

A very bright meteor (a Northern Taurid) lit the sky over Southern-Norway at about 19:08 local time.

The landscape was lit by the exploding bolide. Recorded by a DSLR aimed in the opposite direction.

Aurora Borealis. The Summer Triangle and a meteor. August 27/28, 2021.

At around midnight August 27/28 I noticed auroral activity. The easily seen green aurora covered much of the sky. A more faint blue pinkish arc was also photographed. Seen on enclosed images. Photo details: Canon 700D, 6 mm fisheye-lens. Canon 1300D, 8 mm fisheye-lens, various iso and exposure settings.

Meteor trail and the Milky Way. September 21, 2012.

This photo shows the trail of an enduring meteor. Image was captured on September 21st, 2012 at around midnight. The greenish meteor crossed the sky while I photographed the Milky Way. At about the same time a spectacular meteor was seen over Central-Europe and the UK/Ireland. The meteor observed on the image above is not the same. But, occured in the same direction at the same time.
